Our first day back was so lovely I had to post again. Sam slept through
the night (yay!) and Joe got up with him at 6:30 with Sam so I could
sleep in. Once I got up, Joe made breakfast while Sam napped, and I had
coffee. The sun was out today, so we got all bundled up and headed up
Cupcake Hill (the "mountain" of Mountain Village). Here are a few pictures of our hike.

Looks like Dad is happy to have his family home. I hope that nice weather keeps up for awhile.

ReplyDeleteI can't believe it's 37 degrees there -- it's not even October yet. I guess in Mountain you just bypass fall altogether and go straight to winter. I suppose you're getting ready for Halloween? I'll be dragging all of my cheesy decorations out this weekend. Fun stuff. Looking forward to seeing Sam in his Halloween costume!
My mom is here so our flower beds are being cleaned up and there's not a dirty dish to be found. And she treated us to Chinese tonight - so yummy. I know she's got Porto's on the brain too, maybe tomorrow.....
